Contract Officer (Heat Networks)
Salary: £31,607 – £35,119
Working Pattern: Full Time. Monday to Friday
Hours: 35 hours per week
Do you have experience in analysing data, managing contractors and improving how work is done?
We are looking for an experienced professional to join us as a Contract Officer to support the Energy Provision Team in managing our contracts, as well as supporting strategic project work to improve the management and performance of Notting Hill Genesis’ (NHG) heat networks.
Your work will be key in influencing our procurement decisions, improving the performance of existing contractors as well as appointing new heat metering and billing contractors, ensuring that NHG are always getting the best service and performance from our contractors. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Building successful working relationships with contractors and colleagues across NHG to support the creation of our long-term communal energy plans and strategies, so that we can continue to improve the efficiency of our systems.
Manage a busy workload, staying on top of queries from residents and other stakeholders, as well as providing weekly data to contractors, managing the debt recovery process, managing invoices and assisting in the contract management meetings.
Support the Metering and Billing Manager on key projects, such as the implementation of meter retrofit projects, which will have a lasting impact on how NHG manages their communal energy programme.Working closely with the Senior Heat Networks Manager you’ll play an influential role in shaping ideas and energy efficiency programmes for the future. Using your experience of creating and managing reports and analysing data, you will provide us with key insights on the performance of our heat networks and contractor performance spotting trends and areas that need investigation, as well as reporting on income and expenditure.
The successful candidate will be organised and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines, priorities, and workflows. You will also need to be self-motivated and driven to make improvements whist having an understanding of the impact your decisions will have on our internal and external customers. Finally, you will be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and have experience of data analysis.
Previous experience in energy and/or IT Change projects is desirable.
