A large primary school in Newham is looking for a dedicated graduate to join their team as an SEN Teaching Assistant, working 1:1 with pupils who have ASD.

Psychology Graduate Specification:
***Minimum 2.2 Degree, with previous paid or voluntary experience of SEN
***Good A levels or BTEC
***GSCE grades C and above in Maths, Science, English
*** The will and interest to want to work with SEN pupils

About the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
***Working 1:1 with ASD pupils
***Opportunity to run small group intervention classes with pupils of lower ability
***Working closely with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a working environment that everyone can prosper in
***Liaising with parents, teachers and the SENCO to ensure effective delivery of SEN provision
